'Minecraft' Finally has a free Girl Character

Many girls play Minecraft however, you won't recognize it from the default character options. If you're not willing to spend money or install a mod, the only option you have so far has been Steve the game's male character. Now, however, things are opening up -it appears that Mojang offers builders the option of a female character that is free, Alex.  Haters Gonna Hate She's been around before as an unassigned character in the computer version, but this move will allow female gamers on all platforms sculpt their ideal worlds with a character they can identify with. Alex will be available for Xbox and PlayStation gamers starting April 29th. Mobile gamers using the Pocket Edition will see her this summer.
